Popular social media influencer Orhan Awatramani, known as Orry, finally appeared before the Anti-Narcotics Cell of the Mumbai Police crime branch on Wednesday to answer questions in connection with a massive ₹252 crore drugs case. The case has grabbed headlines after alleged drug trafficker Mohammad Salim Mohammad Suhail Shaikh, recently deported from Dubai, implicated several high-profile figures, including Orry, in lavish parties allegedly linked to the Dawood Ibrahim gang. Orry, who initially requested more time to appear, was met with a massive crowd outside the office, drawing attention from paparazzi and social media users. As he navigated through the chaos, the influencer avoided giving any statements or posing for photos. The case has sparked widespread interest, with several other high-profile figures already questioned, including actor Shraddha Kapoor's brother Siddhanth. According to Shaikh's claims during interrogation, the parties in Dubai and Mumbai were attended by individuals such as Nora Fatehi, filmmakers Abbas–Mustan, and rapper Loka. Orry has not publicly commented on the summons, and his representative had earlier requested more time to appear, citing the influencer's absence from the city. The investigation is ongoing, with officers working to unravel the alleged drug trafficking syndicate linked to the Dawood Ibrahim gang.
