Hundreds of Prabhas fans gathered at the Vimal 70 MM Theatre in Hyderabad on Sunday, eagerly awaiting the launch of the Rebel Saab song. However, the event hit a snag, with the song finally being released around 9 PM, two hours after the scheduled 6 PM launch. Director Maruthi and creative producer SKN took the stage to address the delay, apologizing to the fans and explaining that technical glitches in the Kannada and Malayalam versions of the song had caused the issue. SKN acknowledged the frustration of fans who had been patiently waiting for the song's release, taking to social media to express their disappointment. He attributed the delay to the complexity of releasing a pan-India film, stating that the team had encountered issues with uploading the correct file. Maruthi also apologized to the fans, thanking them for their patience. The Rebel Saab song, featuring music by Thaman and vocals by Sanjith Hegde and Blaaze in the Telugu version, was eventually released and screened inside the theatre. The song is part of the upcoming film The Raja Saab, written and directed by Maruthi and produced by People Media Factory and IVY Entertainment. Scheduled for release on January 9, the film has been in production since 2022 and has generated significant hype among fans.
