The Raja Saab, Prabhas' latest horror-comedy, has failed to show signs of recovery at the box office. Despite a promising opening day, the film has seen a significant decline in collections, with a total of ₹119.45 crore net earned in India by day 5. The global gross stands at ₹143.25 crore. In comparison, the film is struggling to surpass the collections of Game Changer, another Sankranthi box office bomb. Game Changer, directed by Shankar, earned ₹186 crore last year and is considered one of the biggest box office disappointments in Telugu cinema. The Raja Saab, directed by Maruthi, had generated excitement among fans due to Prabhas' return to the family entertainer genre after a decade. However, negative reviews from critics have contributed to the film's poor box office performance. With Salaar and Kalki 2898 AD performing well, The Raja Saab's road to recovery looks tough.
