Bollywood actress Preity Zinta marked Thanksgiving this year while apart from her family, friends, and husband Gene Goodenough due to her busy shoot schedules. The Veer Zara star expressed her gratitude on social media, sharing a throwback photo with her partner and thanking him for his understanding of her demanding work routines. Preity and Gene have been married since 2016, after meeting through a mutual friend in Los Angeles. In her heartfelt message, Preity acknowledged the challenges of celebrating away from loved ones but emphasized the importance of gratitude. ‘This Thanksgiving has been spent over video calls and phone calls, which isn't ideal, but I'm grateful for so much,' she wrote on her X account. ‘I'm thankful for my family, friends, and the opportunities that help me grow as a person. Most of all, I'm grateful for Gene, who understands me and my hectic schedule now that I'm back on set.’ Preity is currently working on the film Lahore 1947, directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, alongside Sunny Deol, Shabana Azmi, and Ali Fazal. The movie is backed by Aamir Khan and is based on the events of partition. In other news, the actress had recently shared glimpses of her rigorous workout sessions, revealing her dedication to preparing for an upcoming project.
