The Indian entertainment industry is mourning the loss of Dharmendra, a legendary actor who passed away on November 24. Priyanka Chopra, who made her Bollywood debut alongside his son Sunny Deol, has shared a moving throwback clip of Dharmendra from a 2018 BBC Hindi interview. In the clip, Dharmendra talks about his fans' love and how he felt embarrassed when called 'good-looking'. He also expresses his gratitude towards his fans for giving him a special place in their hearts. Priyanka Chopra, a close friend of the Deol family, shared the clip on her Instagram Story, along with a heartwarming tribute. She recalled her first Bollywood film, The Hero: Love Story of a Spy, and praised the warmth and affection she received from the Deol family when she was new to the industry. Dharmendra's death is not only a personal loss for Priyanka but also a huge loss to Indian cinema. Dharmendra, who was 89, had been hospitalized earlier this month due to health issues. He was later discharged and taken home to continue his recovery, but tragically passed away on November 24. Several film industry icons, including Shah Rukh Khan, Govinda, Salman Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, and Aamir Khan, attended his cremation to pay their last respects.
