Priyanka Chopra is set to make a triumphant return to Indian cinema with SS Rajamouli's highly anticipated film, Varanasi. The actress recently attended the grand title and teaser reveal event in Hyderabad, where she stunned in a white lehenga choli and won over the audience with her beauty. In a recent Instagram post, Priyanka shared a behind-the-scenes video showcasing her preparations for the event. The video reveals the actress rehearsing her Telugu lines with SS Rajamouli, getting nervous before her entry on stage, and sharing a hearty laugh with Mahesh Babu. Priyanka also expressed her excitement about working on the film, saying, 'I am so happy to be back, making this movie in my beloved India.' The actress was seen greeting Namrata Shirodkar and Sitara with warm hugs before taking her seat to watch the film's teaser. Varanasi, a time-travel themed film, stars Mahesh Babu in the lead role of Rudhra, with Priyanka essaying the role of Mandakini and Prithviraj as the antagonist, Kumbha. The teaser unveiled Mahesh in a fiery avatar, riding a bull with a trishul in his hand on the streets of Varanasi. Filmmaker SS Rajamouli confirmed that Mahesh would also be seen as Lord Rama in one of the sequences, which took 60 days to shoot. The grand launch unveiled the teaser, title, and Mahesh Babu's first look from the film, while also showcasing Priyanka's look as Mandakini, which was released by Rajamouli on Instagram a few days prior to the event. The poster impressed fans, with Rajamouli praising Priyanka as 'The woman who redefined Indian cinema on the global stage.'
