Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra is set to make her highly anticipated return to Indian cinema with SS Rajamouli's epic film Varanasi. The actress recently attended a grand event in Hyderabad, where she stunned fans with her beauty and humility. In a heartwarming video, Priyanka is seen obliging fans and paparazzi with photos, even as she was in a hurry to attend another engagement. Her warm gesture earned her praise from the paparazzi, who thanked her and expressed their admiration. At the event, Priyanka turned heads in a stunning white lehenga-choli, paired with traditional jewellery. Her look quickly went viral, and fans couldn't get enough of her. The actress also sent Mahesh Babu's fans into a frenzy when she spoke about him on stage, saying, 'I know him as MB, the legendary, incredible Mahesh Babu.' She also commended his family, saying they have made her feel at home in Hyderabad. Varanasi marks SS Rajamouli's return to direction after the success of RRR, starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR. The film also marks Priyanka's return to Indian cinema after her 2019 film The Sky Is Pink. She will essay the role of Mandakini in Varanasi, alongside Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The movie is scheduled to release in cinemas on Sankranti 2027. Meanwhile, Priyanka has several other projects in the pipeline, including the Russo Brothers' spy-action series Citadel 2 and the action drama The Bluff, alongside Karl Urban and Temuera Morrison. The release date for The Bluff has yet to be finalised.
