The eagerly anticipated film Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, is set to release its first part on Diwali next year. Ranbir Kapoor stars as Lord Rama, alongside Rocking Star Yash as Ravana and Sai Pallavi as Sita. Ajinkya Deo, a veteran actor from Hindi and Marathi cinema, plays Sage Vishwamitra, Lord Rama's mentor, in the film. In an exclusive conversation, Ajinkya Deo shared his experience working with Ranbir Kapoor on the set of Ramayana: Part 1. According to Ajinkya, Ranbir made him feel extremely comfortable on set, often complimenting him on his work. Ajinkya recalled Ranbir saying, 'Sir, beautiful shot yaar,' and praising his ageless appearance. The Ramayana actor praised Ranbir's humility, saying, 'He is what he is, and that's what makes him a great on-screen performer.' Ajinkya credited Ranbir's authenticity for his instant connection with the audience. The actor expressed his admiration for Ranbir's 'pure heart,' which shines through on screen. Meanwhile, the first part of Ramayana is set to release on Diwali 2026, followed by the second part in 2027.
