Ranbir Kapoor's Ramayana Transformation Wins Over Arun Govil's Approval

Veteran actor Arun Govil, who played Lord Rama in the 1980s epic series Ramayan, has given a thumbs-up to Ranbir Kapoor's portrayal of the iconic character in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana. Govil, who will be seen as King Dasharatha in the film, praised Kapoor's transformation, saying he looks 'very good' as Lord Ram. Govil believes that to play a god-like character, an actor must have a 'good, pure soul' and a 'good human being' persona. He also reacted to comparisons with Prabhas' Adipurush, stating that Ramayana is a distinctly different project. Ramayana, a two-part series, will hit theaters this Diwali, starring Rocking Star Yash as Ravana and Sai Pallavi as Sita, along with Ravi Dubey, Sunny Deol, and Amitabh Bachchan in key roles.
