Tamil cinema icon Rajinikanth was honored at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa, marking 50 years in the film industry. Actor Ranveer Singh attended the ceremony, where he expressed his admiration for the superstar. When asked to share his thoughts, Ranveer humbly stated, 'I'm too small to speak about this level of greatness,' but shared his excitement for the upcoming release of Jailer 2. The ceremony saw Rajinikanth take the stage, surrounded by applause, and smiled in gratitude. Rajinikanth, a household name with a massive pan-India fan base, has been a dominant force in Tamil cinema for decades. Starting his career in 1975 with Apoorva Ragangal, he initially played negative roles before transitioning to hero roles, achieving unprecedented box office success. This year, he starred in Lokesh Kanagaraj's Coolie, which earned ₹518 crore worldwide. Rajinikanth is currently working on the sequel to his hit film Jailer, alongside Ramya Krishnan and Shiva Rajkumar. The film is expected to be a blockbuster, with Balakrishna set to make a key appearance. He is also set to star in a film with Kamal Haasan, further solidifying his position as a cinematic legend.
