The wait is over for fans of Ranveer Singh's blockbuster spy thriller Dhurandhar. The highly anticipated sequel, Dhurandhar 2, has dropped its teaser, showcasing Ranveer's character Hamza on a mission to dismantle the Pak terror network from within. The trailer, titled Dhurandhar: The Revenge, was released by Jio Studios on Tuesday afternoon. It features Ranveer's Jaskirat aka Hamza taking his mission forward in the underworld of Lyari, with glimpses of Sanjay Dutt, Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal. However, many fans were left disappointed, as the teaser seems to be a repeat of the one shown in the end-credits of the first film. While some fans expressed their discontent, citing that the teaser offered no new visuals, others praised the 'less is more' approach, saying it generated curiosity for the film. "I am glad they are not showing the whole film in the teaser. I'd rather watch in theatre," argued one fan. Dhurandhar 2 is directed by Aditya Dhar, who also helmed the first film. The sequel promises to be an action-packed revenge saga, with Ranveer's character going all out against the Baloch gang and ISI. The film is set to release in cinemas worldwide on March 19, 2026, in multiple languages, including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. The Dhurandhar franchise has already achieved massive success, with the first film minting over ₹1300 crore worldwide. Fans can now look forward to the next installment, which is expected to deliver the same high-octane action and thrilling storyline that made the first film a hit.
