Ranveer Singh's highly anticipated film Dhurandhar has made a stunning impact on the box office, ensuring a strong finish for Bollywood in 2025. The movie has seen a remarkable surge in collections during its second weekend, raking in ₹144 crore in India alone. The film's Monday performance was equally impressive, with a modest 50% drop in collections, a testament to its enduring popularity. Dhurandhar's second Sunday was particularly notable, with the film earning ₹58 crore net in India, pushing its second weekend total to ₹143.50 crore. This marked a 40% increase from the first weekend and propelled the film past the ₹350 crore net domestic collections mark in just 10 days. On Monday, Dhurandhar continued to defy expectations, earning an estimated ₹29 crore net in India. The film maintained healthy occupancy levels throughout the day, with morning shows at 22%, afternoon shows at 40%, and evening shows at 51.17%. With its domestic collection now standing at ₹379.75 crore net, Dhurandhar has surpassed the domestic collections of Dangal, PK, Saiyaara, and War. Dhurandhar's impressive performance has solidified its position as the 7th-highest-grossing Bollywood film in the domestic market, behind Animal. The film has also surpassed the domestic collections of big hits like Sanju, PK, and Saiyaara, which earned ₹342 crore, ₹341 crore, and ₹330 crore, respectively. Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar tells the story of Hamza, an Indian spy played by Ranveer Singh, who infiltrates the gangs of Pakistan's Lyari to dismantle their support for ISI's terror network. The film has received praise for its performances, particularly those of Ranveer, Akshaye Khanna, and Rakesh Bedi. A sequel to the film is scheduled for release on March 19, 2026.
