Bollywood actor Ranvir Shorey has shared a candid look into his life since his divorce from Konkona Sen Sharma in 2015. The couple, who were married in 2010 and have a 14-year-old son, Haroon, have continued to co-parent and navigate their individual lives. Shorey emphasized the importance of maintaining boundaries with former partners, saying that staying overly close can create confusion and make the present partner uncomfortable. He believes that while being courteous is essential, it's vital to avoid involving an ex in family life to the point where they become part of the family again. The actor also spoke about using dating apps, stating that expectations vary depending on one's life stage. As a divorced single father, Shorey's priorities are different from those of a 30-year-old. He approaches modern dating with practicality, keeping his son's needs at the forefront of his decisions. Reflecting on his separation from Sen Sharma, Shorey said the couple faced issues even before their son turned four. However, he deliberately waited before making a final decision, seeking separation when Haroon was four years old. He believed this age was 'malleable' and would make the transition smoother for his son. Shorey is set to reprise his role as Chote Dawaan in the second season of the comedy-drama Bindiya Ke Bahubali, which premiered on Amazon MX Player this year. As he navigates his personal and professional life, Shorey remains committed to co-parenting and prioritizing his son's well-being.
