Actress and interior designer Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, who is gearing up for her big screen debut, has recounted a harrowing experience during a recent flight from Delhi to Mumbai. The flight took off just seconds after landing on the Mumbai runway, leaving Riddhima and her 14-year-old daughter Samara shaken. As a member of the Kapoor family, Riddhima is accustomed to keeping her loved ones informed about her travels. However, this time, she was unable to reach her family immediately after the incident. The family's traditional practice of sending a group message, 'JMD' (Jai Mata Di), before takeoff and landing, was disrupted when Riddhima's phone failed to send a message informing her family that the plane had taken off again just a few seconds after landing. Riddhima, daughter of Neetu Kapoor and the late Rishi Kapoor, has spoken about the moment of distress, saying she had to remain calm for her daughter's sake. 'My daughter was very scared and kept holding my hand, asking 'Mumma, what's going on?' I had to keep calm and tell her to stay calm and ensure she was okay,' Riddhima said. Riddhima expressed her gratitude that the flight landed safely, and the incident served as a poignant reminder of life's preciousness. 'I was really terrified, but I'm just glad we landed back safely. Just realized life is too precious,' she added.
