Rohit Shetty Fires Back at Pranit More's Roast in Bigg Boss 19, Promises to Avenge Himself Against Bollywood Stars

Bigg Boss 19's latest episode featured filmmaker Rohit Shetty as the host, replacing Salman Khan for the Weekend Ka Vaar segment. The episode saw Shetty doling out advice and reprimands to contestants, as well as introducing fun tasks and allowing comedian Pranit More to roast him. In the promo, Pranit More took advantage of the opportunity to crack jokes about Shetty and his films, saying he's perfect as the host of Khatron Ke Khiladi and that he was the one who spent ₹100 crore on Dilwale (to which Shetty retorted with a higher figure). More also poked fun at Shetty's depiction of police in his films, saying that when there's a checkpoint, the police let him go. However, Shetty didn't take the jokes lying down. In a surprising turn of events, he gave Pranit electric shocks as part of a challenge, where contestants had to answer questions while wearing shock bands on their arms. The promo shows Shetty telling Pranit, 'Your Shetty will avenge everyone, Salman, Shah Rukh, Ajay, all of them.' The episode also saw Shetty addressing several other contestants, calling out Amaal Mallik and Shehbaz Badesha for their comments about Bigg Boss being biased and unfair. He advised Ashnoor Kaur to play solo and asked Farrhana Bhatt to control her language. Shetty praised Malti Chahar for taking the right stands and defended Gaurav Khanna for choosing captaincy in the ration task.
