In a major coup, the highly-anticipated romantic drama Saiyaara has taken home the Popular Choice Award at the prestigious Yellowstone International Film Festival 2025. The musical romance, which marked the Bollywood debuts of Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, has shattered box office records, grossing a staggering ₹570 crore worldwide since its release on July 18. Directed by the acclaimed Mohit Suri, the film's success is a testament to the director's hard work and dedication. Suri, who has delivered hits like Aashiqui 2 and Kalyug, expressed his gratitude to Yash Raj Films CEO Akshaye Widhani for believing in his vision. The 44-year-old director also fondly recalled his childhood memories of watching Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, a film that inspired him to become a filmmaker.
