Homebound, which premiered at Cannes, has been selected as India's official entry for the Oscars in the Best International Film category. Before the screening, Scorsese posed for photos with the Homebound team, including Khatter and Jethwa. The film's producer, Dharma Productions, shared glimpses from the event, describing it as "a night to remember." The cast and crew were joined by industry experts, including South actor Siddharth and filmmaker Mira Nair, who came to support the film's Oscar campaign.
