Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan recently spoke about the pivotal moment in his life that set him on his path to success. During an event in Dubai, where he unveiled a commercial tower bearing his name, Shah Rukh, 60, revealed that the loss of his parents at a young age was the turning point in his life. The actor, who has been in the industry for decades, said he felt a sense of determination to become a bigger person after his parents' passing. He confessed that he worked tirelessly to achieve his goals, driven by the hope that his parents could see him from heaven. Shah Rukh's parents, Taj Mohammed and Lateef Fatima Khan, passed away when he was 14 and 24, respectively. The actor's emotional reveal was met with a poignant response from his friend and fellow filmmaker Farah Khan, who said, "This (the tower) is as close to the sky as one can get." Shah Rukh responded by expressing his hope that his parents could see him from the tower, symbolizing his desire to make them proud from beyond the grave. Shah Rukh's upcoming film, King, is set to release in 2026 and features an ensemble cast, including his daughter Suhana Khan and several other prominent actors. The action-packed movie is being directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures.
