Shah Rukh Khan has once again proved his generosity by waiving ₹42 lakh dues for the Marathi film Deool Band 2. The film's director, Pravin Tarde, credits SRK's support for the film's massive success, which has crossed ₹80 crore at the worldwide box office.

Tarde approached Red Chillies Entertainment for a Digital Cinema Package (DCP) but was unable to pay the final cost of ₹42 lakh. SRK's team was aware of the film's quality and the director's situation, leading SRK to waive the fee.

'For him, the film was more important than the money,' Tarde said, praising SRK's respect for Marathi cinema. The film is a sequel to Deool Band and addresses the sensitive issue of farmer suicides and the conflict between faith and atheism.

Deool Band 2 stars Mohan Joshi and Snehal Tarde in the lead roles, while Mangesh Desai, Sanskruti Balgude, Devendra Gaikwad, Savita Malpekar, and Pravin Tarde appear in supporting roles.
