Bollywood star Shraddha Kapoor has been out of the spotlight for over a year, with her last release being Stree 2 (2024). Fans are eagerly waiting for her next project, and the buzz around her upcoming film Eetha was building up. However, the shoot of the film, directed by Laxman Utekar, has been put on hold due to an injury sustained by Shraddha. According to sources, the actor suffered a fractured toe while shooting a high-energy Lavani dance number for the film. This traditional folk dance from Maharashtra requires quick movements and fast-paced beats, which might have contributed to Shraddha's fall. The accident occurred when she put her weight on her left foot, causing her to lose balance. Despite the setback, Shraddha has suggested reworking the schedule to film close-up scenes instead. However, her pain aggravated after a few days of shooting, forcing the unit to discontinue the shoot. The team will regroup in two weeks once Shraddha has fully recovered. Eetha is a biopic on the life of legendary dancer, actor, and Tamasha artiste Vithabai Bhau Mang Narayangaonkar. The film's delay has left fans disappointed, but Shraddha's fans are wishing her a speedy recovery and eagerly awaiting her comeback to the big screen.
