A fresh twist has emerged in the ongoing estate dispute over the late industrialist Sunjay Kapur's assets. His mother, Rani Kapur, has launched a scathing attack on his widow, Priya Sachdev, alleging that she has concealed the true extent of his wealth. In the Delhi High Court, Senior Advocate Vaibhav Gaggar, representing Rani Kapur, claimed that Priya has withheld crucial financial details from the court. Gaggar alleged that Priya's actions have led to a massive concealment of Sunjay's assets, which include a ₹60 crore salary and various valuable assets. The lawyer disputed Priya's claim that it is a tradition in the Kapur family for husbands to leave their personal assets to their wives, citing the difference in their marriage lengths and the registration of Sunjay's father's will. The case has taken a new turn as Karisma Kapoor's children, Samaira and Kiaan, have accused Priya of forging Sunjay's will. The court will hear the matter next on December 3. Sunjay Kapur was the chairman of Sona Comstar, a leading auto parts manufacturer, and died in June in London while playing a polo match. He was married to Karisma from 2003 to 2016 and had two children with her before marrying Priya in 2017.
