The 36-year-old had been admitted to AIIMS Bhubaneswar three days prior due to severe health complications, including multi-organ failure. Despite receiving aggressive treatment, his condition showed no significant improvement, and he succumbed to his illness at 9:08 pm on November 17. Odisha's leaders have expressed their condolences to the bereaved family. Chief Minister Mohan Majhi described Humane Sagar's demise as an 'irreparable loss' to the state's music and cinema, while Biju Janata Dal President Naveen Patnaik praised the singer's contributions to Odia music, saying that his soulful voice will be remembered for generations to come.
