Veteran actor Prem Chopra, 89, has been admitted to Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital since November 8 due to chest congestion. According to his son-in-law, actor Vikas Bhalla, Chopra is under medical supervision and recovering well. Bhalla confirmed that the hospitalization was a precautionary measure, citing age-related issues. Chopra began his film career in Punjabi cinema with the 1960 National Award-winning film Chaudhary Karnail Singh, before transitioning to Hindi films and gaining widespread recognition. With a career spanning over six decades, Chopra is expected to be discharged from the hospital within the next three to four days, as per his family's confirmation. Despite the hospitalization, Chopra's condition is stable, and his family and friends are hopeful for a speedy recovery.
