Tamil star Vijay, who filed his nomination for the Tamil Nadu elections, accused a conspiracy behind the delay of his final film Jana Nayagan and the Karur stampede that killed over 40 people.
Addressing a crowd in Trichy, Vijay claimed that the parties have come together to oppose him and that the delay of Jana Nayagan and the Karur incident were a conspiracy to stop his film from becoming a powerful weapon in the elections.
He reiterated his commitment to the people and vowed to never lie or deceive them, asking voters to choose between the current CM MK Stalin and himself, who works for the people.
Vijay also called the DMK government an 'evil force' and asked voters to throw it out of power in the Tamil Nadu Assembly election.
