Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi has shared a chilling experience from his early days in the industry. During the filming of his 2002 thriller Road, Oberoi was involved in a life-threatening car crash while traveling from Bikaner to Jaisalmer. The incident occurred in the dead of night with poor visibility, and Oberoi repeatedly warned the driver to slow down. In an interview, Oberoi recounted the harrowing experience, saying he was reclining in the front passenger seat when a camel cart carrying long rods suddenly emerged from the darkness, smashing through the windshield. If his seat had been upright, the rods would have pierced his body, leaving him severely injured. The near-fatal accident led Oberoi to vow never to travel at night again, a decision that has stayed with him to this day. The incident also led to a change in his approach to safety, making him more cautious and aware of potential dangers on the road. Released in 2002, Road is a high-octane thriller set against the stunning backdrop of Rajasthan. The film follows a suspenseful journey on the open road, blending action, drama, and intense moments of tension. Vivek Oberoi will soon be seen in the latest installment of the Mastiii franchise, Mastiii 4, alongside Riteish Deshmukh and Aftab Shivdasani. The film is set to hit theaters on November 21, and will be followed by the release of Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Spirit, starring Prabhas and Tripti Dimri.
