A 12-year-old boy was shot in the head and killed in downtown Nashville on Sunday night, June 21, during a fight between a group of teens.
The shooting occurred in the 400 block of Union Street around 7:30 pm, according to WSMV.
Police have identified the victim as Damarion Morehead and said he was in 'extremely critical condition' after being treated at Vanderbilt, but later died from his injuries.
No arrests have been made, but police are interviewing two people involved in the incident.
