A body has been found in the search for Elena Katherine Moore, a 39-year-old woman who went missing last week after leaving a gym in Lexington, South Carolina.
The body was found in a wooded area where Moore was last seen, and authorities said it 'fits the clothing description of our missing person.'
The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) is assisting in determining the cause of death and confirming the identity of the body.
Moore was last seen leaving the Planet Fitness gym on June 11, wearing an olive green zip-up hoodie and black athletic pants.
Surveillance footage placed her at a Publix grocery store parking lot around 9:17 pm the night she went missing.
