Business Leaders in Bangladesh Express Concern Over Law and Order Situation
Business leaders in Bangladesh have expressed concern over the country's deteriorating law and order situation. They warned that the economy will struggle to recover if the situation doesn't improve soon. Selim RF Hossain, managing director of Brac Bank, stated that the government has failed to handle the law and order situation.
Hossain and other business leaders called on the government to take prompt action to address the issue. DCCI President Ashraf Ahmed advocated for reforms in tax administration, business process automation, and lower interest rates to support the private sector.
Ahmed emphasized the need for uninterrupted gas and electricity supplies to reduce business costs and sustain industrial productivity.
