Prime Minister Narendra Modi Arrives in Washington DC for Landmark Two-Days Visit to Strengthen India-US Strategic Partnership

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Washington DC in the early hours of the morning (Thursday), marking the beginning of his two-day visit to the United States of America. India's Ambassador to the US, Vinay Mohan Kwatra, and other officials welcomed the Prime Minister at the airport.

Members of the Indian community braved the harsh winter weather to gather outside Blair House and welcome Mr. Modi, who is among the first few world leaders to visit the US following the inauguration of US President Donald Trump's second term.

In a social media post after landing, PM Modi expressed his eagerness to meet President Trump and strengthen the India-USA Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership. He emphasized the importance of both nations working together for the benefit of their people and for a better future for the planet.

During his visit, PM Modi also met with US Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, and fondly recalled their earlier interactions.
