Controversial online figure Charleston White has sparked outrage by selling $30 'Watermelon Felon' T-shirts, which mock Karmelo Anthony's murder conviction. White had previously pledged $75,000 to help Anthony appeal his first-degree murder conviction for fatally stabbing Austin Metcalf.

However, White withdrew his support after clashing with Anthony's father Drew, calling him 'soft' for focusing on personal funds from a GiveSendGo campaign. White has since pledged to back Jeff Metcalf, Austin's father, instead.

Anthony was sentenced to 35 years in prison for the 2025 murder of Metcalf, who was stabbed to death during a rain delay at a high school track meet. White has been seen wearing one of the T-shirts himself, featuring Anthony's face turned into a watermelon.
