The El Monte River Fire, located on Rosemead Boulevard in south El Monte, California, has been contained at 19 acres after spreading moderately and threatening a nearby structure.
According to Watch Duty, multiple fire engines are at the scene, with helicopter drops also in progress.
The fire, near the LA Clays shooting range, has not prompted any evacuation orders, but at least one structure was threatened, according to the UC San Diego wildfire alert service.
