Democratic Senate candidate Graham Platner is facing fresh allegations from two of his ex-girlfriends, Lyndsey Fifield and Jenny Racicot, who spoke on the record to The New York Times.
The women described Platner's behavior as troubling, demeaning, and physically intimidating, with Fifield alleging physical confrontations and Racicot describing an incident where Platner arrived at her home intoxicated.
Fifield, a Virginia conservative, dated Platner between 2013 and 2015 and disputed his previous claim about the Totenkopf symbol, a skull emblem associated with Nazi Germany.
She also alleged that Platner sometimes became physically rough, particularly when he consumed alcohol, and made comments about dominance and violence, including referring to women as 'hatchet wounds'.
Racicot described her relationship with Platner as largely positive but said she was not surprised by the controversial comments that surfaced during the campaign, stating that 'this person does not respect women'.
