A series of Instagram stories by rapper BlockBoy JB sparked rumors that Grammy-nominated producer Tay Keith has passed away.
Nashville based news outlet WSMV confirmed citing Metro Nashville Police that the producer was found dead at an apartment on Martin Street.
The circumstances of the death are unclear at the moment, and a cause of death has not been revealed.
"No foul play is suspected in the death of Brytavious Chambers, 29, also known as Grammy nominated record producer Tay Keith," an update from the police read.
Tay Keith, originally from Memphis, Tennessee, first appeared on the hip hop scene at the age of 14, when he was making beats and uploading them on YouTube and other platforms.
He shared a close friendship with BlocBoy JB that gave him breakthrough fame, and produced several iconic tracks, including 'Look Alive,' that featured Drake.
