Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a warm welcome from the Indian diaspora in Paris, who hailed him as they gathered to celebrate the success of the 'Bharat Innovates 2026' event.
Modi, who was in Paris for the G7 summit, jointly inaugurated the event with French President Emmanuel Macron, which brought together Indian deep-tech start-ups, innovators, and researchers with global innovation funds and footprint.
The three-day event showcased India's premier deep technology at the global stage, presenting 120 pathbreaking start-ups and over 20 Institutes of Excellence, across 13 critical technology pillars of global importance.
Indian communities in Paris reacted enthusiastically to the success of the event and deepening Indo-French ties, with many expressing their pride in the growing partnership between the two countries.
