A Tennessee judge has revoked the bond of Dalton Eatherly, aka Chud the Builder, after prosecutors presented new video evidence contradicting his self-defence claim in a shooting case.
The decision came during a court hearing in Nashville on June 17, where prosecutors argued that Chud the Builder violated the conditions of his release by allegedly committing a violent felony while out on bond.
Eatherly was charged with theft of services, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest after refusing to pay a nearly $400 bill at a steakhouse in Nashville.
However, he was later arrested in a more serious case in Clarksville, where he faces attempted criminal homicide, aggravated assault, and employing a firearm during a dangerous felony.
New footage presented during the hearing showed Eatherly firing before he was physically attacked, negating his self-defence claim.
Davidson County Judge Melissa Blackburn revoked his bond, stating that Eatherly's behavior and social media activity were a concern.
Eatherly is still being detained in Montgomery County, where his bond is set at $1 million.
