A former Modesto Police Department detective has suggested that tracking cars in the area of Nancy Guthrie's home through surveillance cameras or GPS data may expose a possible suspect.
Jon Buehler, a law enforcement consultant, also proposed checking if anyone ever searched for Nancy's address on Google.
He believes that a critical lead may have been buried in the numerous tips provided, and that it could 'break it wide open.'
Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos remains confident that the case will be solved, stating that 'the best minds of the country' are working on it.
