Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hailed the US-Iran peace agreement, saying it had spared Israel from the threat of 'nuclear annihilation'. He also reiterated that Israeli troops would remain in Lebanon, Gaza, and Syria for 'as long as necessary' to protect the country.
Netanyahu highlighted the key achievements of the joint US-Israeli military campaign against Tehran, including neutralising Iranian nuclear scientists, decapitating terror leaders, and destroying nuclear facilities and missiles.
He vowed that Iran would never be allowed to obtain nuclear weapons, regardless of the outcome of any agreement, and argued that the campaign had established a 'credible military threat' that would underpin any future agreement with Iran.
