Cincinnati in Ohio witnessed severe flooding on Thursday due to heavy rainfall, with reports indicating that I-75 northbound was shut down. The Ohio Department of Transportation reported that all lanes on I-75 North beyond I-74 and the left lane on I-75 South beyond Mitchell Avenue were closed due to flooding.

A flash flood warning was issued for Hamilton County until 4:00 am local time, and warnings were also in place for Ripley, Dearborn, and Ohio counties until 3:15 am Thursday. A suspected tornado led to downed power lines and trees, with multiple reports of flooding and vehicle rescues from high water.

Local authorities urged residents to stay off I-75 near St. Bernard/Elmwood Place, as multiple cars were stuck in floodwaters. Rescue crews were responding to the situation, and a flood watch was issued for the area.
