Nancy Guthrie's daughter Annie and son-in-law Tommaso Cioni are facing public scrutiny after a ransom note claimed she was 'buried with nature now.'

The note, reportedly addressed to TODAY show host Savannah Guthrie, was one of two received by the Guthrie family after Nancy was reported missing on February 1.

Authorities believe the notes came from the same person and are still treating the case as a kidnapping.

Some online users have been examining Annie and Tommaso's writings, including poetry and lyrics, for any mention of the word 'nature.'

A social media user on X found a possible match in Annie's poem 'The Oracle,' but a copy of the poem hosted by the University of Montana does not show the word 'nature' appearing.

However, a preview of the poem on Google shows different lines, including 'What is nature? A pocket sealed and torn.'

The investigation continues, with authorities still searching for Nancy Guthrie, who was last seen on January 31.
