Ukrainian drones struck Moscow's oil refinery for the second time in a week, while Russia fired missiles into Kyiv, as President Volodymyr Zelenskiy sought support from the US and Europe for a peace deal.

Over five dozen drones were downed by Moscow's air defense forces, with some reaching the Moscow oil refinery, causing minor damage to a shopping center.

The attack is the second in a few days, adding to widespread damage to Russian energy facilities and extending a fuel crisis deeper into the country.

Russia, the world's third-biggest oil producer, is set to import fuel by sea this month as it seeks to manage a gasoline shortage.

Ballistic missiles also targeted Kyiv, prompting air strike alerts across most of Ukraine's territory.

Zelenskiy spoke to US President Donald Trump and French President Emmanuel Macron, among others, at a Group of Seven meeting in France, seeking to increase pressure on Russia to negotiate an end to the four-year-long war.
