The son of James Handy's girlfriend has been arrested in connection with the Top Gun: Maverick actor's murder, as per law enforcement officials.
James Handy, 81, was discovered unresponsive with a stab wound to his chest outside his Tarzana residence on Wednesday morning and later declared dead.
Law enforcement officials arrived at the scene after a 911 call from the suspect, who claimed to have killed the 'man of sin.'
The suspect, 44-year-old Michael Gledhill, lives at the residence with his mother, Handy's girlfriend, and has been taken into custody on suspicion of murder with a $2 million bail.
