A US diplomat was found dead in Myanmar with fatal stab wounds to the head and neck.
The suspect, Pavinee Supasirivisan, is the diplomat's ex-wife and is being investigated for the crime.
Supasirivisan attended her second hearing in court, facing an immigration-related charge that could result in a sentence of up to five years.
She may also face a possible ten-year sentence or even the death penalty for the murder charge.
The US State Department has acknowledged the diplomat's death but has not released further details, including the diplomat's identity.
