4-Year-Old Girl Abducted, Raped Near Kolkata: BJP Slams Mamata Banerjee's Handling

A four-year-old girl from the Banjara community has fallen victim to a horrific crime in West Bengal's Hooghly district, near Kolkata. The minor was sleeping beside her grandmother when she was abducted and later found critically injured near Tarakeshwar railway station. According to reports, the girl was asleep under a mosquito net on a cot near the Railway shed in Tarakeshwar when the attacker struck. The perpetrator allegedly cut through the net and carried the child away while she was still asleep. The victim's grandmother, visibly distraught, revealed that the incident occurred around 4 am and expressed her helplessness in the face of the tragedy. The family has been living on the streets since their homes were demolished, leaving them without a place to call their own. The grandmother expressed her despair, saying, "Where do we go? We don't have any homes.
