New Epstein Photos Unveil Prominent Figures in Sex Trafficking Scandal
The new photos that Democrats released are undated and don’t include information on the context.
Democrats in the US House Oversight Committee have released a new batch of photos linked to late sex offender Jeffery Epstein, shedding light on prominent individuals who may have been connected to him. The undated photos, which are part of a larger cache of 95,000 images, include high-profile figures like Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, filmmaker Woody Allen, and former Trump advisor Steve Bannon.
The release comes one day ahead of a deadline for the Justice Department to release documents from its investigations into Epstein's sex trafficking activities. Reuters reported that 68 new photos were made public, although the context of the images remains unclear.
Among the notable figures in the new batch are:
- Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates
- Filmmaker Woody Allen
- Former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon
- Political philosopher and activist Noam Chomsky
- Illusionist David Blaine
- Former YouTube CEO Salar Kamangar
- Columnist David Brooks
- Google co-founder Sergey Brin
The new photos also include foreign passports with redacted information, Epstein's US passport, and screenshots of cryptic messages. One message appears to refer to an 18-year-old from Russia and mentions sending 'girls' to a person named 'J'.
Democrats have vowed to continue releasing documents and photos from the Epstein estate to provide transparency for the American people. Representative Robert Garcia stated, 'Oversight Democrats will continue to release photographs and documents from the Epstein estate to provide transparency for the American people.'
The release of these new photos has sparked renewed calls for accountability among those who may have enabled or covered up Epstein's sex trafficking activities. US Representative Ro Khanna commented, 'Finally, rich men who covered up for abuse will be held accountable once the tranche of files are released.'
The new batch of photos joins previously released images that included President Donald Trump, former President Bill Clinton, and other notable figures.
