It's been over three weeks since India's women's cricket team won its first-ever World Cup title. Led by Harmanpreet Kaur, the team defeated Australia in the semi-finals and South Africa in the finals, sending the nation into a frenzy. Recently, two of the team's standout players, Jemimah Rodrigues and Shafali Verma, appeared on 'Two Much,' a talk show hosted by Kajol and Twinkle Khanna. The Mumbai-born Jemimah and Haryana's Shafali shared their childhood experiences in sports, with Jemimah choosing cricket over hockey and Shafali disguising herself as a boy to join a cricket academy. When asked if they were intimidated by the Australian team, which is a seven-time World Cup winner, the duo responded with wit and confidence. 'When we hit a four or a six,' Shafali explained, 'their shoulders droop down automatically. I think that's the best technique.' Jemimah echoed Shafali's sentiments, adding, 'You shouldn't judge by size, but by courage.' The audience and hosts applauded their response, which seemed to win hearts. The duo also recalled previous World Cups, where India narrowly lost to Australia. However, in the recent tournament, India turned the tables, defeating Australia and eventually winning the title. 'We were very happy to push them out of the line that day,' Shafali said, reflecting on the team's historic victory.
