Hayden Haynes has been serving as chief of staff to Mike Johnson since Johnson first entered Congress in 2016. Johnson honored Haynes on the House floor, describing him as 'the most integral member of the staff.'

Haynes will be succeeded as top aide to Mike Johnson by current Deputy Chief of Staff Garrett Fultz. In a farewell message, Haynes expressed his gratitude to the people of Louisiana, Mike Johnson, and his family for their support throughout his journey.
