Union Home Minister Amit Shah has directed India's security agencies to leave no stone unturned in identifying and apprehending those responsible for the recent vehicle explosion near Delhi's Red Fort. In two high-level review meetings, Shah instructed top officials to hunt down every individual involved in the blast, warning that they will face severe consequences. During the meetings, Shah also ordered the National Investigation Agency (NIA) to take over the investigation, citing potential inter-state connections and the need for coordination with global intelligence networks. Preliminary assessments suggest a transnational radical network may be behind the blast, with all possible angles being examined. The Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) has been directed to expedite its report on the explosive material used and the DNA profile of the suspected car driver, Umar Nabi. DNA testing will confirm if Nabi, who has been missing since the crackdown on the module in Faridabad, was among the deceased. NIA investigators are analyzing electronic communications, financial trails, and movement across states to determine if any individuals linked to the Faridabad module were previously on their radar. Sadanand Date, the NIA chief, has assigned the agency's Delhi unit to lead the probe. The investigation is ongoing, with officials working to identify and bring those responsible for the blast to justice.
