In a significant development ahead of the Bihar Assembly election results, several exit polls have predicted a massive win for the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA). The polls, conducted by various agencies, forecast the NDA to cross the majority mark of 122 seats in the 243-member Assembly. Major exit poll agencies such as Matrize, P-Marq, Peoples Pulse, Bhaskar, People's Insight, JVC, and Poll Diary have predicted at least 133 seats for the NDA, comprising the BJP, JDU, LJP, RLMP, and HAM (Secular). However, one outlier pollster, Journo Mirror, has predicted a different outcome, suggesting that the Mahagathbandhan, comprising the Congress and RJD, could win 130-140 seats, while the NDA might lose with just 100-110 seats. The BJP has welcomed the exit polls, with leaders such as Dinesh Sharma and Manoj Tiwari expressing confidence in the NDA's prospects. Sharma said that the 'cleanup' of the RJD and Congress from Bihar has begun, while Tiwari claimed that the Mahagathbandhan has already accepted defeat. On the other hand, the Opposition has dismissed the exit polls, citing the high voter turnout in both phases of the election. RJD leader Sudhakar Singh said that the high voter turnout is often indicative of a regime change, and the Mahagathbandhan will comfortably form the government in Bihar. Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav has termed the exit polls as 'pre-planned' and 'fake', and praised the people of Bihar for voting for change. The elections took place in two phases on November 6 and 11, and the results will be out on Friday, November 14.
