In a move that suggests confidence in their impending victory, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has ordered 501 kg of laddoos in anticipation of a win in the Bihar assembly elections. The counting of votes is set to take place on Friday, following two phases of polling on November 6 and 11. The state recorded an impressive voter turnout of 66.91 per cent, the highest in its history since 1951. Major exit polls have predicted a clear mandate for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government, leaving the BJP in a celebratory mood. Krishna Kumar Kallu, a BJP worker, expressed optimism, stating that the party's development works had won over the people. To celebrate, the BJP has ordered 501 kg of laddoos, which will be distributed as prasad among the public. In a contrasting view, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has dismissed the exit poll predictions, attributing them to the BJP's leadership. The counting day is expected to bring a clearer picture of the election results, with the BJP's laddoo distribution set to take place on the morning of November 14.
