Bihar Family Tragedy: Mother and Two Children Die After Alleged Pesticide Poisoning

A devastating incident has shaken a family in Bihar's Buxar district, where a 30-year-old woman and her two children, aged 7 and 5, died after allegedly consuming pesticides in a suspected case of domestic violence. Their 1-year-old son is fighting for life in a hospital. According to police, Sabita Devi, who had reportedly been in an altercation with her husband, Sunil Kumar, is suspected to have ingested pesticides on Tuesday, along with her children Jyoti and Akash. The family was rushed to the Buxar Sadar Hospital, where doctors declared Sabita, Jyoti, and Akash dead on arrival. The couple's 1-year-old son, Vikash, is receiving treatment at the hospital and has been referred to Patna for further care. An investigation has been launched, and a team has been deployed to the hospital to gather more information. Sunil Kumar, who is a mason by profession and Sabita's third husband, has declined to comment on the incident. The police are still probing the circumstances surrounding the tragedy, and the motive behind the alleged pesticide poisoning remains unclear.
